Pyramid Hotel Group has appointed Schack von Rumohr as director of operations at Sheraton Kona Resort Spa at Keauhou Bay. Vincent Robinson has been selected as director of food and beverage at the 22-acre oceanfront resort.

Von Rumohr began his career studying and working in culinary arts in Germany. He moved to the United States and worked with Hyatt Hotels for 10 years where he held various positions, working his way up to manager.
As director of operations, his responsibilities at Sheraton Kona include supervision of numerous departments including food and beverage, security, engineering, front desk, concierge, guest services, housekeeping, and the new Flying Fish retail and activity mediterranean cruise outfitters.
After attending the University of San Diego and University of Hawaii on Kauai his career, now spanning more than 20 years, was furthered mediterranean cruise at upscale resorts including the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf Tennis Resort, The Phoenician and the Hotel Del Coronado.
