The Ace Hotel pays attention to detail. I loved the aesthetic of the Polaroid airline tickets discounted camera in our room, You sure would look better pressed written on our ironing board, and a Now/ Not Now magnet airline tickets discounted for the outside of our door.
The downstairs lounge had a cool laid back feel with a Paxton Gate vibe. As one girl sat at a microphone off to the side of the lounge singing Florence + the Machine airline tickets discounted s Shake it Out , we downed some delicious cocktails. One minty, one spicy.
Living only an hour outside NYC, I never pay for a hotel room there but you have me considering it for a special occasion.  This place sounds great.  I love quality hotels.  My favorite in the world for whimsy as well as luxury is the Liberty airline tickets discounted Hotel in Boston.  It was built in the actual, century-old Charles River Jail and retains many prison motifs.  Pricey but well worth it.
