Lake Tahoe is the place to see some of the best explosions in the sky on Independence Day 2013. The lake resort Fourth of July festivities will start early this year on July 3, 2013, with the Red, White, and Tahoe Blue celebrations at Incline Beach and an early fireworks map of downtown los angeles show at Kings Beach. And guests can continue honoring Americas birthday on the fourth at Commons Beach and South Lake Tahoe too.
With all of the family-friendly patriotic celebrations going on at the lake this year, today TahoesBest.com has revealed some of the best places to watch the fireworks this Fourth of July 2013 in Lake Tahoe.
Incline Village celebrates Independence Day with an exciting four-day event. The celebration begins on July 3, with a mountain bike and hike on the Flume Trail and a flag retirement ceremony at Hyatt Pier. The next day, July 4, head over to Incline Beach for the Optimist Club Carnival and BBQ from 11 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., 4th of July Optimist Concert at 5:00 p.m., and a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.
The red, white, and Tahoe blue extravaganza continues through the weekend with childrens chalk drawing at the Potlatch, wine and cheese at Aspen Grove, and a community fair at Village Green, among other family-fun map of downtown los angeles events.
Celebrate Americas birthday a day early on July 3 at Kings Beach. Head over to the North Tahoe Event Center at 2:00 p.m. to celebrate with a beach party before the fireworks show start. The beach party will include live music, food, and vendors, and the fireworks production will begin at 9:30 p.m.
Check out 66 years of spectacular firework displays at Common Beach on July 4. The fireworks will start at 9:30 p.m., but guests should arrive early to claim a prime spot in the sand. Guests are welcome to bring picnics and lawn chairs to make an evening out of the event. As an added bonus, this year, the Commons Beach event will also feature a VIP BBQ and viewing area.
