OK. So last Thursday we received confirmation that there is a date set for the somewhat mysterious Disneyland Half Marathon runDisney asia hotel bangkok has been hinting about for the past year. That magical date is sometime in September asia hotel bangkok of 2015.
I ve never been to Paris, let alone Disneyland Paris, so I had some investigating to do. I fully intend for this to be my first international race, as well as an extended trip to see all that Paris has to offer. With airline tickets running around $1,200, I need to see and do as much as I can.
Disneyland Paris is located 20 miles east of the center of Paris. It s likely that the race course will be set up very similar to the Disneyland Resort in California. The first 4-5 miles will be run through the two theme parks (Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios) as well as Disney Village (similar to our Downtown Disney) before heading out through the Parisian countryside surrounding the Disneyland Paris parks. Sounds charming!
Reminiscent of Walt Disney World s Yacht Club Resort, this property is about a 15 minute walk to the parks. It s a shame that the pool, wellness center, sauna and steam room will be closed for refurb during the race weekend.
OK, so here at Walt Disney World I steer clear of Value Resorts, but this one has my name written asia hotel bangkok all over it. It s about a 20 minute walk to the parks and I can belly up to the bar at the Red Garter Saloon for a refreshing drink to the tune of country music.
This rooms in this resort are decorated very similar to the rooms at Disney s Coronado Springs Resort in Walt Disney asia hotel bangkok World, but there s also something about it that reminds me of Cars Land in Disney s California Adventure. This hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the parks
Not an option as this property is a ten minute drive to the parks and I will not be renting a car. This is Disneyland Paris s version of the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground in Walt Disney World offering asia hotel bangkok guests both campsites and cabins. This one has a stunning indoor pool with waterfall and Crockett s Tavern.
