Even though I really want a Tiny Texas House I have to be realistic. They are pretty expensive for a small house. After emailing with Brad Kittel, the owner, about the size and style of house I want I realized national rent a car coupons that it s really not in my best interest right now to buy one.  I want to quit my job and move south, away from the freezing cold of Minnesota and the snow, we just got a foot of it. I ve looked at the Class C RVs that come with their own truck in front that you can drive anywhere (called a motorized RV). But after posting questions on the RV Forum I ve gotten really good feedback that it might not be the best option for me. The standard opinion of forum members is that I should go with travel trailers . Why? Because I don t want it for traveling, I want to live in it full-time and stay mostly in one place. So why pay money for the engine, national rent a car coupons extra insurance, tune ups and break downs, etc. if it s just going to sit there. ( Travel trailers are towed behind a truck, they can t move on their own.) Makes a lot of sense to me.
So per my new current plan to go with one of the travel trailers I started looking online. (I know my plan is always changing, that s what this year is about, deciding what s the best option.) Since I ll be living in it full-time I will need something that doesn t get too hot or too cold. I guess the Small House Movement is all about breaking the housing codes and self-building unconventional structures. WHATEVER!!!
So while some people think the Small House Movement is about breaking rules and building funky houses on wheels, here s what the Movement is to ME. I m not saying this is what it s about, I m saying it s different for everyone. (Which those commentators obviously don t get.)
For me the Small House Movement is about getting away from huge mortgages and utility bills. It s about owning a tiny home that I own outright, can move it if I need to, and is very inexpensive to heat and cool. In other words, to me the Small House Movement is about being able to live without the fear of always being one paycheck  away from being homeless. For others, it s about having a small foot print on the planet. I like that idea too. And still for others it s about living a very simple national rent a car coupons life without clutter and tons of useless junk. And I think full-time RVers fit into all of  those.
