Hotel Quartier des Spectacles was alright. I was really travel channel tv excited by the pictures travel channel tv on Hotwire.com but had met disappointment from the moment I arrived. When I first entered, the hotel felt like a hostel especially with the area that it was in. It s neighbouring store was a sex shop and there was no free parking and the hotel itself felt like an old apartment complex. On the upside, it was in downtown travel channel tv Montreal which was great as it made it easy to walk rather than drive the many one way streets. The hotel costumer service was up to par. They were friendly and courteous and helpful! The room itself was very clean and I loved the industrial look with the brick wall and the metal pipes. It didn t meet my normal spacious travel channel tv expectations but I found it fairly cozy especially if you have someone to snuggle with
Le Grand Comptoir was a little restaurant in the heart of downtown Montreal. We started with a vegetable travel channel tv soup with bread. The soup was delectable and very simple. As an appetizer we had escargot. I love escargot and wow! this happened travel channel tv to be the best escargot I ve ever had. It was drenched in a rich cream sauce (I can t remember exactly what it was). The entrees and flan were alright I expected more but the escargot made my day!
My boyfriend and I love the 50 s. We re quite intrigued with diners like  Johnny Rockets . So, when we saw Nickels  and its 50 s style we couldn t resist. They had a menu page devoted travel channel tv to various poutine recipes. travel channel tv My boyfriend tried the original poutine and I tried the pizza poutine. Poutine is a dish composed of fries, gravy, and melted cheese. For the pizza poutine, the poutine had pepperoni, green peppers, and mushrooms on it. The food itself was delicious and plentiful and the service was great!
After we went to  Musee d Art Contemporain de Montreal . It was a great exhibit for $6.00. My favourite painting was this surreal piece of artwork that when looking at it looks as if it were 3D. I would recommend it if you re interested in Montreal contemporary art.
Quattro is a restaurant close to the outskirts of downtown Montreal. The resturant is a quaint spot and the food is delicious! We started with grilled calamari. I ve never had grilled calamari before then and this definitely exceeded my expectations! Our entrees were next. I wasn t happy with my rose sauce pasta dish but my boyfriend s truffle cream sauce pasta was absolutely tremendous! For dessert we tried the cannoli. It wasn t what I was expecting but omg! their chocolate soufflé was extraordinary!
After dinner, we strolled along and found Old Vieux Port. If you ever get to go to Montreal, Quebec you must go to Old Port especially at night. It was absolutely beautiful! There s the Montreal Science Centre along the port and little shops in large shipping crates but the most beautiful part is Old Montreal. I also recommend a horse carriage ride. The ride at night is brilliant and you ll get nice recommendations on restaurants and learn of the Montreal travel channel tv history. Plus, you get to feed the horse after
After breakfast we toured Old Montreal. travel channel tv Saint-Paul was the first street marked on the Canadian map and personally it s one of the most beautiful streets with its cobble stone streets, old architecture, and original building writings.
Le Bourlingueur  is a petit French cuisine restaurant on Saint-Paul. My boyfriend and I wanted so much to try some French dessert so that s all we bought travel channel tv there. I can t remember travel channel tv the French names of each dish but we had orange creme brûlée, chocolate mousse travel channel tv soufflé, and an ice cream éclaire. The orange creme brûlée was amazing!! I ve never had such a delicious dessert dish. I would definitely recommend trying  Le Bourlingueur!
