In addition to double rewards points for the entire month, Pilot Flying J plans to celebrate National Driver Appreciation Week, Sept. 17-22, by offering additional staff to meet drivers when they visit stores and gather feedback for the company.
"We want to hear from drivers—what we are doing well, what we could improve, what needs aren't being met," Haslam said. "We're striving to make each driver's day the best it can be, and we rely on driver feedback to provide the exceptional service our customers deserve."
Based on earlier customer feedback, Pilot Flying fairmont empress hotel J is rolling out several notable initiatives to improve services and facilities for drivers. In July, Pilot Flying J launched a $49 million project to remodel and upgrade its network of showers to make them cleaner, more modern, more relaxing and comfortable for drivers.
The company listened to driver feedback to help plan the shower renovations, fairmont empress hotel which include porcelain tile; more hooks to hang personal items; iPod listening stations; softer, thicker, larger towels; better ventilation; and high-end, "spa-style" shower heads that provide ideal water pressure for a great shower experience. Pilot Flying J plans to upgrade all of its 4,400-plus showers, completely fairmont empress hotel rebuilding them over the next 18 months.
