Does the Melbourne public p o princess cruises plc transport system confuse you and leave you frustrated? Coming to a new city and trying to work out their public transport system can be harder than trying to dress for Melbourne s notoriously unpredictable weather. We get lots of people asking about how ticketing works after going on what seems like an endless treasure hunt just for information on which system to use and how it works.. The only difference is there is no treasure nor is there any fun involved p o princess cruises plc what so ever!
We want to give you the best possible experience of Melbourne while you are with us so hopefully we can make this process of getting around as stress free and easy as possible. So here is the run down.
During your visit you may see two types of tickets on public transport as Melbourne is switching from Metcards (paper tickets p o princess cruises plc which can be bought on board) to a new ticketing system called myki. During the changeover you can use a Metcard or myki to travel on trains, trams and buses. Myki ( pronounced M y Key ) is a re-usable smart card that stores value to pay your public transport fare.
You can purchase the myki Visitor Pack from the Visitor Information Centre at Federation Square, and the Public Transport Victoria Hub on Swanston p o princess cruises plc Street, Corner of Swanston and Little Collins Streets, Melbourne.
FOR THE VERY BEST INFORMATION AND ADVICE ON TICKETING ANF ROUTES WE RECOMMEND VISITING THE LOCAL INFORMATION BOOTH LOCATED AT SOUTH YARRA TRAIN STATION OR AT THE TOURIST CENTRE LOCATED AT FEDERATION SQUARE IN THE CBD
