To promote the new service, Alaska Airlines is offering introductory fares starting from $129 each way between San Diego and Boston and $209 each way between San Diego and Kauai. Members of Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan can also earn double miles on San Diego-Boston flights between March 29 and July 17 and on San Diego-Kauai flights between June 7 and August 7, 2013. To qualify, customers must first register at alaskaair.com.

The 737-800 is the highest-selling model of the Boeing 737NG family and is the workhorse of the Alaska Airlines fleet, the carrier operating more 737-800s than any other 737 variant

In the other direction, Alaska Airlines flight will leave BOS daily at 6:55 p.m. and arrive at SAN at 10:13 p.m. local time.
From June 7, Alaska Airlines San Diego-Kauai flight will push back from the gate at SAN at 9:55 a.m. and reach Lihue Airport (LIH) at 1:05 p.m. local time. The flight will operate daily until August 24, then reduce to a four-times weekly service, operating on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
