Hello from the Carnival Elation! It is day 1 - sea day. It has been a great day, however, there are still high winds. The waves have had white caps so the ship is rocking like a see-saw. Seems like sea-sickness meds in the gift shop are the best buy for many people. Temperature is in the 70s, and it is slightly overcast, but still a nice day. Everything else is going great. Tonight is formal night, but we are not participating in that event, but we are going to the show. Hope all is good at home!

It is Progresso Day. We took a cab into Merida. It is a very interesting city, almost like being in any US city, fast food, home depot, car dealerships, sears, wal-mart, sams club, etc. We went to the historic district and walked around a bit. Back on ship for lunch, and going to VIFP Gold party this evening.
