WHS Homecoming is right around the corner! We now have over a century of homecoming traditions in Weatherford, and WHS Student Leadership is hard at work preserving old traditions as well as working to start new ones.
The Homecoming Parade will be held on Thursday, October 18th. The parade theme this year is Up in the Air! , so we are going to see floats chinatours beijing and hongkong featuring anything and everything that belongs in the sky, from birds to space shuttles. The parade will kick off at 5:30 p.m. at the Ninth Grace Center, proceed north on Main Street and then u-turn and end back at the NGC. The parade can be viewed from both sides of South Main, and Student Leadership asks that you encourage your friends, family and neighbors to attend!
If your organization would like to participate in the homecoming chinatours beijing and hongkong parade (whether that s with a float, a car, or on foot), please complete the attached form and return it to me via email or by mail.
