LOS ANGELES – The Born This Way Foundation (BTWF) announced today that the Born Brave Bus is headed back on the road to embark on a four-city tour beginning residence inn chicago March 16th in Philadelphia and making stops in Washington, DC, New York City and Chicago. The bus tour, which had been postponed in February following the cancellation of Lady Gaga's Born This Way Ball tour due to an extensive injury, is an effort by the Born This Way Foundation to inspire bravery and promote self-acceptance among young people. Covered in artwork created by real Gaga fans, the bus and surrounding experience provides residence inn chicago youth with an interactive way to meet like-minded peers, and to connect with local resources in their communities including behavioral and mental health services, school psychologists, mentoring, volunteer opportunities and bullying and suicide prevention resources. While counseling will not be provided on site, youth will be directed to local professionals who can provide services to them on an individual basis.

"The bus has already impacted thousands of young people and, with the support of our partner organizations, this incredible resource will continue to help guide the large youth populations of Philadelphia, residence inn chicago Washington, DC, New York and Chicago towards local support in their communities."
The Born Brave Bus Tour will be visiting the four cities throughout March with the goal of bringing it to more cities in the future. Tour dates, cites, and locations are listed below and more specific details will be announced shortly residence inn chicago at www.bornthiswayfoundation.org.
Visitors to the bus can enjoy food, live performances from Lady Gaga's friends The Dirty Pearls, as well as DJ sets from Lady Starlight and DJ White Shadow in select cities, and fun activities including interactive digital kiosks, games and more.
For the Born Brave Bus tour, BTWF has joined forces with Campus Pride, GLSEN, residence inn chicago Hive YOUMedia, the National Association of School Psychologists, the National Council for Behavioral Health, MENTOR, Mentoring USA, The Trevor residence inn chicago Project and YSA (Youth Service America). All across the country YMCAs have been invited to join in the movement. A few examples of participating YMCAs include the Chicago YMCA Metro, the Bronx YMCA and the East Los Angeles YMCA.
With Viacom as its lead media partner, the foundation has also partnered with the John D. Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, The California Endowment, Mozilla and The Berkman Center at Harvard to explore the best ways to reach youth and create a new culture of kindness, bravery, acceptance and empowerment.
