Fishermans Road Markets  Cnr Fishermans Road and David Low Way, Maroochydore There are up to 128 stalls offering a huge variety of items for sale including fruit and vegies, fresh seafood, clothing, pet treats, books, plants, home made toys and furniture, sausage sizzle and yummy slush-puppies and ice creams, espresso coffee, and you can also relax with a massage. There is face painting, a jumping castle and merry-go-round for the kids. You'll spend the day exploring Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo, which is just twenty minutes from our Base in the mountains. Australia Zoo offers the chance to see many of Australia's native animals first hand, and you will spend the day petting kangaroos, watching the awesome croc show, checking out dingoes, making friends with koalas and more. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the Wildlife Warriors Animal Hospital – the most advanced wildlife hospital in Australia! Late this afternoon, head to the top of a nearby mountain for spectacular sunset views and local Aboriginal legends before returning home to our Base in the evening.
I ve been to the Eumundi Markets with my family several travel map quest times now. They are such a great way of spending a day out with the family there s activities to keep the kids amused and plenty of stalls to stock up on good tucker and gifts. If you are on the Sunshine Coast make sure you head there at least once!

Marcoola house is a fantastic family holiday house everything needed was there ,  loved the open plan living out the back, plenty of car accom. room for the dogs etc.  short walk to the beach and swings was great for the kids also proximity to Maroochy. and Coolum approx 15mins drive is an asset overall [...] Read more »
