Some airlines have suggested you d like it their way, which is to offer you the options london to taipei discount airline tickets they want you to see. And some would also prefer london to taipei discount airline tickets that you didn t have a chance to compare their fares to other carriers.
This survey is being conducted by this site in cooperation with the Consumer Travel Alliance. Do you have any thoughts on the current spat between airlines and online travel agencies over how tickets are sold?
Note : The questions in this survey were changed shortly after it was posted to clarify that this was only about online ticket purchases, not bookings made through a travel agent. Also, the follow-up questions were amended to be more neutral.
Yeah, anything london to taipei discount airline tickets for the office has to go through their travel agent and electronic process. For personal travel, most often it is Southwest through their website and when it wasn t southwest, it was an advertised fare in the paper. Just called the T/A and booked the flight.
It would be nice to see all the prices compared together, but i think as long as an airline lumps in the fees so you can see the total price up front, that is what we all want. When I go to Best Buy, they don t show me the WalMart price on a tv.
4. Purpose of travel plays a part. If I was say traveling to San Francisco or Vegas for a getaway weekend then I may look on T.O.E for package deals.I would also do this if I was traveling to one of the island in Hawaii london to taipei discount airline tickets or the Caribbean islands.
5. When looking london to taipei discount airline tickets at fares I prefer Kayak because it shows you the final cost after taxes for the airfare. When comparing Southwest to legacy carriers I will also take into account baggage charges if I am going to be checking bags.
6. Loyalty frequent flier programs also play a part. Like I have in the bank over 30,000 miles with Delta and about 15,000 miles with United/Continental combined (which will eventually happen). I will weight this when booking longer trips like cross country trips. I live in Seattle and I have family on the east coast. I travel some 5 times over a year to visit them. I can accumilate around 5,000 miles per round trip so I look at it as I can fly 5-6 trips and then get a free one. I am not going to pay a significantly higher fare on a long trip just to get miles.
7. Getting some elite status on an airline does get its perks. In 2009 I had accumilated over 25,000 london to taipei discount airline tickets miles over the course of the year so I got upgraded to silver medallion status london to taipei discount airline tickets this year. If I flew on Delta I didnt have to pay baggage fees and about 3 times I got automatic first class upgrades on some flights. One it was the entire flight, for others it was one leg of the 2 leg flight that I got upgraded.
It is important to know if I have to pay extra for seat assignment, extra leg room, baggage fees (checked or carryon) etc. for a flight including the costs on the return trip. The total costs of these fees when added to a base fare can be considerable, and have an impact on the choice of routing or airline for me. For example, the airline I have status on may have a higher base cost than another airline until I factor in the fees I would (might) have to pay. Staying with my regular airline may no longer be the more expensive way to go. Also the added benefit of upgrades or free flights makes choosing the airline I have status with the better option many times.
When Kayak shows you results you can sort any way you want, the list will show your fares and basics of the flights departure, arrival time and total travel time. But there is a link where you can see more information on the flight that will show you the flight connections, and aircraft.
