FRHI Hotels Resorts (FRHI), the parent company of luxury and upper upscale hotel brands Raffles Hotels Resorts, Fairmont Hotels Resorts and Swissôtel Hotels Resorts, is pleased to announce the appointment of Aiden McAuley as Senior Vice President Operations, plaza hotel killarney Europe.
In this new role, he has relocated from Singapore to Zurich and is now responsible for overseeing all existing plaza hotel killarney hotel operations and future developments across all three brands Fairmont, Swissôtel Raffles within the European Region.
During the past eight years Aiden McAuley had the position of Managing Director Swissôtel The Stamford Fairmont Singapore plaza hotel killarney and Regional Vice President, Asia-Pacific for Swissôtel Hotels Resorts overseeing all Swissôtel properties in Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Australia and India. In this role he had the opportunity to venture into new markets and oversaw the opening of the first Swissôtel property in India, Swissôtel Kolkata. McAuley brings with him over 25 years of hospitality experience and first joined Swissôtel in 1999 as the General plaza hotel killarney Manager of Swissôtel The Howard, plaza hotel killarney London before moving to Singapore. Prior to joining Swissôtel, Aiden held positions at other international brands plaza hotel killarney including Hilton.
