Glad to see that you included Koh Chang in a place that can be visited around Bangkok. However for the readers here I thought it best just to point out that it will take approximately 6 plus hours to reach the island from Bangkok by road. To speed things up you can take a plane from Bangkok airport to and Trat and then a short taxi ride to the ferry which will take a little over two hours in total. Then again you have to consider the price it's a lot cheaper by bus or car and you get to see more scenery on the way. Whatever means of travel you take it will be worth the effort as Koh Chang is a marvellous island.
