Two years ago six friends who loved writing and performing original music rooted in Reggae, Rock, and Dub started a Kickstarter Campaign to raise funds to record and release a debut EP (Inner Light) and the generosity we experienced blew each of us away as we raised over $5,000! Inspired by this unbelievable support, we decided it was time to take out a small loan and buy a 1996 Ford Econoline Van and cargo trailer off of Craigslist and hit the ground hotels in northern ireland roaring!
In our first tour down through Florida, Louisiana, and Texas we discovered the glory that is What-A-Burger and it became THE spot to stop, so we naturally nicknamed our van the What-A-Van because hotels in northern ireland this ole lady has gotten us out of some tight spots allowing for countless times to gratefully exclaim, What a Van!
Fast forward two years and we are still enjoying the fruits of labor and love that is Roots of a Rebellion (debt free to boot!), and though at times it doesn t feel like it, we truly ARE getting closer and closer to making a living hotels in northern ireland doing what we love thanks to people like you!
With 212,000 + miles though, we re not sure how much longer this old lady will carry us. It is our hope that by livicating this tour to her, she ll have the strength to get us to all you lovely people this year!
