The hotel worked out great for our family. Our Art hotel reservation was for a Quad room with a king

Description: The Art Hotel Rome , is a newly refurbished hotel located in the historical Center, and only a few steps from the Spanish Steps. It is located on Via Margutta, a Roman quarter known for its antiques and art galleries.
Many contemporary rio hotel and casino las vegas works of art decorate the former Catholic college in a blend of old meets modern. The hotel houses 46 bright light colorful arty very modern individually color schemed rooms! They successfully blend wall facings of glass and resin, wall tiles of glass metal and mosaic and hi-tech furnishings of wood and leather. Rooms are equipped with mod-cons like a cordless keyboard for web surfing and satellite rio hotel and casino las vegas television.
rio hotel and casino las vegas RomanLife 2 cents: It would be an understatement to say the Art Hotel Rome offers unique accommodation in Rome. Staying in the hotel's rio hotel and casino las vegas funky stylish rich relaxing ambient is a whole Rome experience of its own. A big plus is the location and proximity of Rome's major historical sites.
See a map showing the position of the Art Hotel Rome Italy and other hotels in the Spanish Steps area of Rome . We also have a page dedicated to the Spanish Steps area maps, things to do, transport, shopping, nightlife etc.
The hotel is 32 kilometers from Fiumicino airport (Leonardo Da Vinci Airport) and the taxi takes 35 - 40 minutes (traffic allowing) for a standard fee of 40. From Ciampino airport the taxi ride is 40 - 45 minutes and costs 30.
I stayed at the Art Hotel Rome a couple rio hotel and casino las vegas nights before and after a cruise. Both times I was lucky enough to get a hotel room on the green floor (easier on the eyes than the yellow or orange rio hotel and casino las vegas floors), however my room was not ready until about 15-20 minutes after the check-in time. I was traveling with a girlfriend whose room was ready (both times) prior to check-in time?!
The rooms are a great size for a Roman hotel. While the lighting is a little diffused (several small lighting fixtures rather than one bright overhead) rio hotel and casino las vegas the bathroom is well lit, and includes a hair dryer. The hotel has hardwood floors so perhaps noisier than a hotel with carpeting, however, the only noise problem was people out late in the courtyard smoking and laughing.
The room temperature is controlled by the Hotel but you can have the temperature rio hotel and casino las vegas adjusted (I had mine lowers to 23 C). The staff is very helpful and friendly. When you check in they hand you a map of Rome and circle the hotel. They can recommend good local Roman restaurants, rio hotel and casino las vegas and give tips for directions or taking a taxi. They can also recommend some walking trips and tours of Rome.
It's a good idea to include breakfast in your rate - a very good buffet spread: many different fruits, cereals, toast, muffins and Danish, several juices, bacon, eggs, sausage, salamis, cheeses, yogurts, coffee, espresso, etc.
The hotel worked out great for our family. Our Art hotel reservation was for a Quad room with a king and a double bed, each in its own separate room - separated by a sliding door for privacy. The bathroom has a double sink and in generally there is more room than your typical Rome hotel. The room was very clean with hardwood parquet rio hotel and casino las vegas floors and windows that open help to make you feel more at home.
The hotel staff were very helpful, ordering taxis and suggesting local Roman restaurants. There was a lovely bowl of fruit and a bottle of Champagne on our arrival. Our reservation included a delicious buffet breakfast that was the best we had during our Italian trip. A nice variety of pastries, rio hotel and casino las vegas meats and cheeses, as well as eggs, bacon and sausages.
The hotel atmosphere is definitely different, very contemporary and made for an interesting stay - my kids loved the colorful floors. Why travel and stay somewhere boring? The location rio hotel and casino las vegas is Rome historical area is fantastic: a block and a half away from the Roma subway and the Spanish Steps. Very close to all the Rome shopping you could ever want, and many restaurants as well. Almost all the big Rome attractions are walkable or easily accessed by Metro, bus or Taxi. The Via Margutta was quiet and lined with many art galleries. We spent a couple of hours enjoying the local art scene by walking up and down the street.
We stayed at the Art Hotel in May 2008. Our Art hotel reservation was for one double rio hotel and casino las vegas bedroom at 320.00 Euros (approx 410.00 US$) and one single bedroom at 200.00 Euros (approx. 255 US$) for one night. The location is ideal: in the historical rio hotel and casino las vegas center of Rome. Via Margutta is a very quiet street close to Piazza di Spagna and at reasonable walking distance from almost all the tourist rio hotel and casino las vegas attractions one wishes to see while in Rome. We had also reserved a private shuttle transfer from Fiumicino Airport for peace of mind.
Welcome at reception was just polite, not offish but not too friendly. The double bedroom was an average size, the bathroom average size also with a large bath tub and shower. The single bedroom was very small with little space around the bed. The furniture was worn out and there were black marks on the floors and walls. The hallway, lounge and breakfast area are not that spacious. we found the Prices very high and felt the hotel is definitely not in the category in which it sells itself.
I stayed at Hotel Art for a few nights in mid-May 2008. Located on Via Margutta, a quaint, quiet street close to the Spanish rio hotel and casino las vegas Steps. You may have seen the Art hotel in an episode of Passport to Europe with Samantha Brown. This was my 2nd time in Roma, the first time I stayed at a hotel on Via Cavour - closer to the Roman Forum and Colosseo, but I prefer the Hotel Art location.
Each floor of the hotel has a different color scheme, I stayed on the 2nd floor, the entire hallway illuminates in green. The rooms are a comfortable size (as far as rooms go in Italy and Europe). The air conditioning worked fine however it blew right on my head. The window opened onto the courtyard and it was nice to be able to get fresh air. The bathroom rio hotel and casino las vegas was clean with funky green tiles and a cool shower wand. Linen and towels were very clean and neatly pressed. The room has hardwood flooring - no carpeting - a plus for me, you don't have to worry about dirt, dust mites, stains, etc. The room had a safe that fit my laptop. The Wi-Fi was $10 for 8 hours but the connection was terrible, it kept disconnecting.
The breakfast buffet was great: meats, cheeses, Danish, breads, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, bacon/sausage and eggs. My morning cappuccino and espresso were very good too. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I would definitely consider staying at the Art hotel Rome again. Perhaps the coins I tossed in Trevi Fountain will make it happen.
My husband and I stayed rio hotel and casino las vegas at the Hotel Art Rome near the Spanish Steps for 5 nights on our honeymoon. Excellent location! The hotel is in a quiet alley (pretty, not creepy) only a 2 minute stroll from the Spanish Steps. rio hotel and casino las vegas The hotel is very quiet and comfy despite being in the chaotic rio hotel and casino las vegas historical center of Rome.
The hotel room was beautiful and big and the bed was very comfortable. rio hotel and casino las vegas It was over 100 F degrees almost every day that we were in Rome Italy, but you wouldn't have known it in the hotel room, the a/c was great. The breakfast was wonderful (not common for Italian hotels) lots of fresh fruit, cheese, meats, juices, pastries etc. The staff was wonderful and the front desk crew was amazing - always giving little tips and pointers about Rome: where to eat or grab a drink - very, very helpful.
The Hotel Art may be one of the most beautiful hotel you ever stay in. The Hotel Art is in the historical heart of Rome and right next door to the Spanish steps and only stone's throw away from the Trevi Fountain, one of Rome's main attractions. You would expect it to be very noisy being next door to a main attraction of Rome but the hotel is very peaceful at all times.
The floors are bright and the walls are lit up and display great art (hence the name of the hotel). The food was is excellent, rio hotel and casino las vegas including breakfast, which is always fresh and prepared at your order. Dinner is excellent with many menu's including Italian, Western and Asian. When you enter the Art hotel you feel as if you have walked into an art museum or gallery. Nothing at the hotel is old everything is modern. Enjoy your experience at the Art Hotel Rome.
We just got back from our our honeymoon in Italy. The first leg of our journey was Rome where we stayed at the Hotel Art. They automatically upgraded our hotel room before we even arrived, the entire stay was terrific. The front desk staff go above and beyond and are always available to provide directions or restaurant suggestions. Breakfast rio hotel and casino las vegas was perfect, and hit the spot every morning before heading out to see the beautiful attractions of Rome. The hotel is in a very quiet side street and you never hear the traffic outside. The decor of the hotel is unique, not what you would expect for a hotel in Rome, but we loved it. I would highly recommend the Art Hotel Rome, and would definitely stay there again in our future trips to Rome.
I absolutely loved the Art hotel Rome. On our third trip to Rome we were unable to book our favorite, The Hotel delle Nazioni, but the disappointment was short-lived once we arrived at this hotel. Ultra modern with intense decor (that you will either love or hate), it is best to request upon booking that you would prefer to be on the soothing 'green floor' or the passionate 'orange floor' or tranquil 'blue floor' rio hotel and casino las vegas - you decide
The hotel is in a quiet cobbled street only a block away from the Spanish Steps. It's lovely and private while still incredibly close to the major touristic sites of Rome. The included breakfast was the typical continental fare, breads, yogurts and cereals and not too much else, however we did feel that we received value for money considering our seven year old stayed free with us. The only thing that could use a little rio hotel and casino las vegas improvement was the friendliness of the staff, although I can't say anyone was impolite, it's just a feeling of being nice enough and no more. The rooms themselves are not huge but certainly
