Green Destination Orlando , an initiative dedicated to sustainable tourism in Central Florida, will commemorate Earth Hour on Saturday, March 23, 2013 by switching off non-essential lighting 8:30-9:30 p.m. The following locations will be participating:
The Peabody Orlando will serve a three-course Earth Hour dinner at Napa for $39.95 per person. For the occasion, the restaurant known for its sustainable farm-to-fork cuisine us airline ticket sales will dim and switch off lighting where ever possible and create a new Earth Hour ambiance with special battery-operated LED lights.
