Fear and I are regular bedfellows. I have a special ability to become scared almost anywhere. I've hidden behind my hands while watching not particularly scary films, I've hidden under my duvet during alaska airlines vacations not particularly wild thunderstorms, and as  a child I couldn t go trick or treating because alaska airlines vacations I was too afraid of the other children's costumes.
But I now have a dilemma. Do I tell him I'd rather swim with angry piranhas than go down there? I'm trembling a little bit just writing the words.
The trouble is we won't stop. The other trouble is that there are 170 miles of maze-like tunnels underneath Paris. He s a bit of a history buff and on top of that he s no doubt plotting endless fun hiding from me, jumping out of dark corners and generally causing mischief that will thoroughly test my bladder control.
