Based in Montreal, I felt it was necessary to pay them a visit and perform an acoustic concert for t

I had the Montreal dates circled on my promo-calendar for a long time. I had never been to Montreal, and my only Quebecois experience was when I crossed the river from Ottawa to Gatineau to visit the Museum of Civilization back in 2007. So, as you can imagine, I was extremely excited to be visiting one of Canada s greatest cities if not one of the World s greatest cities.
Because the music scene is so vibrant in Quebec, Warner Music has an entire office for the Montreal/Quebec industry. Mitch DePalma, the head of Warner Montreal, picked up Mr. Steve Coady and I at the airport just after 8:00 pm, and off we went to check into our hotel.
My expectations of Montreal were high, as I ve heard from so many people how great the city was. When we arrived at our hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. In fact, I was thrilled to step inside one of the most trendy hotels I ve ever been in. We checked into W , a hotel in the heart of downtown and then proceeded to a restaurant just around the corner, where I was able to meet and spend time with Warner Montreal s radio and promotions guru Donald Robbins.
My wife Cecilia and I are super fans of the show called Top Chef Canada travel deals for students , and recently Chef and owner of Toque (Normand Laprise) was featured on the show as a guest judge. Hailed as one of Canada s greatest culinary treasures, I was anxiously anticipating an outstanding dining experience courtesy of Chef LaPrise.
travel deals for students Now let me tell you something… this restaurant was outstanding. Everything a high-end restaurant should be it was. The staff were incredible, the champagne was to die for, and our 7-course tasting menu, complete with wine pairings, was the best overall eating experience I ve ever had. Some of the most unique combinations were placed on a plate, right before my eyes. Bison and popcorn salad. Sea urchin mouse. As well as some of the most exquisite fois gras I ve ever tasted. I could go on and on
The only unfortunate travel deals for students part of the meal was that I could not share it with my beautiful wife Cecilia, who enjoys fine dining as much as I do. Although I truly enjoyed Mitch, Don, and Steve Coady s company, it wasn t quite the same without her.
The good news that I d like to share with you is that I will be returning to Montreal, even if it s just for another meal at Toque. Cecilia will be with me next time. (Oh, and you re invited too. If you want to take me out to Toque, I will be your friend forever!)
I met and performed for the Warner staff in Montreal the morning after our supper at Toque. Helen, Eric, Biff, and Larissa were extremely kind and excited to meet me, just as I was excited to meet them. We all discussed that although country music is popular in Quebec, it has not yet hit main stream like it has in other provinces. Our goal (as a team) is to bring my music to the great country music fans of Quebec. And together, we are going to do it!
After a great morning complete with freshly brewed coffee and the best croissants I ve ever had, at the Warner Music Montreal office, I was off to visit GALAXIE Music at their headquarters in Montreal.
Galaxie Music is a music streaming service that I am almost certain you ve enjoyed already travel deals for students many times. Go onto your TV, go to the 900-or higher channels, travel deals for students and you ll see Galaxie Hot Country , or Galaxie Oldies , or one of my favourites: travel deals for students Galaxie Christmas .
Based in Montreal, I felt it was necessary to pay them a visit and perform an acoustic concert for the staff. Thanks to Gary, Rob, and Greg, an email was sent out to every staff member, and close to 50 people met me in the yoga room for a brief concert. I performed my latest single, as well as some of my new originals, and enjoyed great response from my new friends at Galaxie. Originally, the plan was to meet only with the executives of Galaxie. But quickly it turned into 50-person concert. I was thrilled.
Following the great concert at Galaxie, I met with head of Donald K. Donald travel deals for students Concert Promotions. Mr. Oko, Donald, Coady, and I had a great lunch where we talked about music, concerts, artists, Kenny Rogers, coffee, cattle, siblings, and everything else we could think of. As the entertainment buyer for the St. Tite festival in Montreal, I was excited to spend one on one time with Oko. What a class act I look forward travel deals for students to doing business with him in the future!
By now, I was already used to putting on miles, traveling from radio station to radio station, so it really felt like home, driving down the highway to our first radio stop at K103 outside of the city. Cowgirl KT interviewed me for her weekend country show, and I felt right at home in the quaint radio station. I felt great energy from the staff, and I look forward to my return!
We then got back in Donald s SUV (a hot Mercedes I may add) and motored to Cornwall, Ontario to meet with Drew and Emma at Wild Country! Wild Country is a border station that not only services the Cornwall country market, but also the American country market just on the other side of the border. This meeting travel deals for students and performance, although only to two people, was still very important travel deals for students and very fun for us all.
All forms of media in the Montreal and Western Ontario regions really rolled out the red carpet for me and for my Warner Music team. I was definitely pleased with my Montreal experience, and couldn t have asked for a better travel deals for students first time in Quebec.
A big thank you goes out to Donald, Mitch, and my new brothers and sisters at Warner Music Montreal. We certainly have some challenges ahead of us bringing country music to the masses in Quebec but with the positive response we enjoyed at radio, Galaxie, and the like, I feel we will have an amazing head start.
