Launching today (Thursday 31st October), the 'Manchester Master' will help agents in Canada and the States to package and sell Manchester as a vacation destination and gateway to other popular locations including Liverpool, the Lake District and Chester.
It follows recent news of two new air routes to Manchester which will both begin operation in summer 2014: a seasonal summer service from Toronto with Air Canada and a seasonal summer service from Charlotte, North Carolina with US Airlines.*
Participants of the Manchester Master program will learn about the city-region as they work through a series of online modules, uncovering reviews on cruise ships ideas for vacations and general knowledge about Manchester and the North of England as they progress.
On completion of the program, newly qualified 'Manchester Masters' will receive a personalised certificate of achievement acknowledging their newly acquired expertise on all things Manchester and will be entered into ongoing incentive draws, as well as receiving updates on new product and destination information from Visit Manchester.
