A fun new event is picking up momentum on Maui, and we strongly suggest that you add it to your list of West Maui vacation experiences. On certain Friday's there are now big town parties for everyone to enjoy, including residents and visitors.
On the first Friday of every month, the party is in Wailuku. On the third Friday, the party is in Makawao. Now, there's a second Friday in Lahaina. We figure it's safest to explain what's going on lest you stumble upon one by accident and find yourself confused as to what the merriment is about. These lively events get a lot of praise from attendees, and if you have Lahaina or Kaanapali accommodations , then the Lahaina party will be especially convenient.
The Friday parties are good for anyone who is looking for a little excitement, and they're also good for raising spirits and raising revenue for the economy and local businesses. It's a win-win situation for all.
