Located on Maui's famed Westside you will be steps away from sandy Kahana Beach, shopping and restaurants. Lush tropical landscaping surrounds 2 pools, several barbeque ef educational tours areas, laundry facilities ef educational tours and a tennis/basketball court. Kana'apali Beach is 5 minutes away and Lahaina Town is just 10 minutes away, by car or public transit. Just some of the many reasons why Pohailani Resort is so popular with residents and visitors alike. The moment you arrive on Maui you will realize why you came. The warm feeling of tropical breezes and the famous ef educational tours warm Maui sunshine will make you feel that coming to Kahana is the best vacation decision you could have ever made. The Kahana area is on the west side of Maui just north of historical Lahaina. Our complex is very large and extends right up to the ocean. Most of the units are arranged around the the outside of the grounds, and the large interior grounds have with lots of trees, grass, and lush vegetation ef educational tours in a park-like setting. The pools and BBQ areas are all on the inside area. The units are not set up like typical condos. The complex is made up of individual private duplexes (each building has only 2 units - 1 upper like ours and 1 lower) so there are no adjoining ef educational tours walls with other units. This allows the upper units like ours to have vaulted high ceilings. The ocean at Kahana Beach is just a few steps away from our unit about 80). You can access the beach by walking through the left side of the Hololani Hotel right in front of our unit. Kahana beach usually has calm seas and good snorkeling. The beach gets wider as you go south. The lagoon/inner-reef directly in front of the complex ef educational tours is a wonderful place to explore. ef educational tours There are also many, many other great beaches within a short distance of the unit. If you do not have snorkeling or diving gear, we have some in the unit, or it can be rented at Boss Frogs which is a 1 minute walk next to Dollies Pizza. ef educational tours The Kahana Gateway Shopping Center is only a 1 minute walk away. You can get there from the back of our complex without having to go on a public road. There you will find a general store, restaurants (Roys, Maui Brewing Company, and Angus Steak House), banks, gas station, a coffee shop/internet café, McDonalds, and shops providing locally-made and imported items. Just a short distance (1 minute walk) down Lower Honoapiilani

Of course there are so many other places and beaches close by that you will also want to explore. Whalers Village and the Ka'anapali beach area is just a 5 minute drive, and the he shops and galleries of Lahaina Town are just a 10 minute drive. The Cannery ef educational tours Mall with a huge Safeway, Longs Drugs, Starbuck and lots of shops is just a 7 minute drive. Organic foods, diary-free foods, and supplements are available at the Farmers market just a 3 minute drive south from our unit.
Pohailani 221 is a 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom 2nd floor duplex unit with loft that comfortably sleeps 6. The master bedroom has a queen bed and shoji doors that open to the main living ef educational tours area that has a queen pullout sofa. The second bedroom has a twin bed, pull-out single, and a computer desk with high speed wireless access. There is also a loft with bed that is accessible by ladder and great for kids of all ages! There are also 2 folding mattresses that can be put in the loft or wherever you want. There is cable TV in each room and the living room has a DVD player. Vaulted ceilings and ceiling fans throughout contribute to the airy tropical feel of this unit. A large covered ef educational tours lanai overlooks the smaller of the two pools and provides dining for four. Perfect for a relaxing cocktail ef educational tours while keeping a close eye on the kids in the pool!
The fully equipped kitchen has charming Balinese cabinets, stainless steel countertops and updated appliances. A three person kitchen bar provides another dining area and a way to interact with the cook and contributes to the open layout of the condo.

Dinner at Lahaina ef educational tours Grill is tasty. Roys and the Maui Brewing Company are right next to us in Kahana. Whalers Village at Kaanapali Beach has a great shopping plaza and lots of beachfront restaurants. The Lahaina Cannery Mall has lots of shops, restaurants, and Starbucks. The new plaza across the street has all kinds of shops including a Barns and Noble book store with Starbucks inside (nice!).
10) Windsurf/Kiteboard. The east side of the island near the airport is one of the best places in the world for windsurfing and kite-boarding. You can rent gear, take a lesson, or just watch in comfort on the sandy beaches. Hookipa Beach to the south on the way to Hana is a famous surf spot with huge waves.

We came back after a wonderful week at your Pohailani Condo. We found the condo just great, well laid out with all the necessary amenities for our enjoyment. First night we had dinner out at the Maui Brewing Center, shopped groceries nearby, very convenient walking to. The following days we walked the beaches, swam in the pool, visited the Maui Ocean Center, walked ef educational tours around in Lahaina numerous times, had lunches and dinners out at many places as well as in the condo. ef educational tours All in all it was just great. The condo is very comfy, the surroundings are luscious and peaceful. We drove with the car both south and north to explore the coast, wind and waves. Altogether we had a great holiday and appreciate you letting us have the use of your place.
We were really pleased with our accommodation choice - a great location, nicely groomed grounds (song birds, butterflies evidident when we used the pool), premises were really clean, pleasingly decorated and very comfortable, very spacious with all essentials, plus a nice neighbourhood with friendly people, a convenient little shopping centre steps away. After funfilled days and spectacular sunsets we very much enjoyed the use of the patio (lanai?). Since the Olympics were on when we visited - it was nice to get a recap of the events ef educational tours later in the evening (didn\'t ef educational tours think I\'d watch TV in Maui - this was an exception tho\') - the Visitor Channel ef educational tours (7) was really informative. Perfect Aloha Spot for me and my family! Super clean and comfortable....perfect private deck for sunny morning cofee...nice Hawaiian decore...owners were very nice to deal with....very reasonably priced compared to other rentals....close to many beaches....loved staying here.....alot of nice memories.
