Yapta has raised an additional $2 million in a series D funding round, led by Amadeus Ventures and supported by existing investor Concur. That brings total funding in the 15-person company to $20.3 million.
“Our Series D financing will help us scale our efforts on all fronts – from technical development to sales and marketing – enabling Yapta to help even more companies save on their travel spend,” said James Filsinger, President and CEO of Yapta.
Earlier this week, Yapta inked a deal with CWT, one of the largest travel management companies in the world. As part of the deal, CWT will resell Yapta s FareIQ corporate airfare price tracking technology. Earlier this year, Yapta inked similar reseller deals with Travizon and Omega World Travel.
