From my experience, taking a roadtrip is the second best way to see the incredible Iceland landscape (First being if you have some extra cash to splurge by helicopter ). They picked us up from the airport and brought us to our Toyota which we named Ruby. I highly recommend getting the GPS and it was nice to have a car with extra space for our sleeping bags, tent and other gear. The heated seats were amazing and we bought an adapter to play music from our iphones through the radio. If you bring the car back with a few scratches, no problem. Overall we had an amazing roadtrip!
