These Green partnerships include the EPA’s Green Power Partnership, iStayGreen and Ozarks GreenScore.

The Green Power Partnership is a program that encourages organizations to reduce environmental impacts by purchasing green power. The Partnership now has over 1,300 partner organizations. Between these partners, billions of kilowatt-hours of green power are being purchased each year. These partners include Fortune 500® companies and small to medium-sized businesses, as well as local, state and federal governments and organizations.
Another recent partnership includes gaining a presence on iStayGreen. This organization was created to enable and encourage environmentally conscious travelers to seek out green hotels and other various travel related river cruise ratings businesses. iStayGreen provides a platform for communication and action that encourages more responsible members of the lodging industry, as well as the traveling public. Some of these criteria include relevant energy management, waste management, policy management, and more. These organizations are then categorized as Bronze, Silver, Gold or Green members, based upon their performance in these areas.
