Bill Cosby was one of the most beloved figures in America just a few months ago. But my how things have changed. After being accused by over 25 women of various forms of sexual assault, Cosby has canceled nearly all of his appearances. But Cosby was determined to go to Ontario, where even some of those fans weren t happy to see him.
Cosby made his performance on Wednesday night, but there were hecklers in the crowd. In a group described by The Toronto Star as small but determined, organizers yelled at the actor while he sought to perform without distraction.
Cosby is set to perform in two more cities in Ontario this week. Protesters plan to show up and disrupt the show. A total of 10 shows were canceled in the US. Another controversy erupted this week when Cosby s former co-host, Phylicia Rashad, said that she was supporting Cosby . Being quoted by Showbiz 411, Rashad allegedly stated that she believes military discounted disney world tickets that the allegations are orchestrated, and that the goal of the accusers is to destroy Cosby s legacy.
