The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has ordered a New York City tour bus company to reinstate a tour guide who was fired because of what he wrote on Face book. The board ruled that his postings were protected activity under the National Labor Relations Act.
The tour guide complained on Face book about his employer, New York Party Shuttle. He decried his lack of benefits and griped that his paycheck had once bounced. He urged his fellow tour guides to consider forming a union.
