This 1,264 sq/ft waterfront home features a new, contemporary, salt-based, solar heated swimming pool, and borders on a canal with ocean access. It is located on a 7,300 sq/ft corner lot at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, Floriday Home accommodates a maximum of 6 adults. Two bedrooms are furnished with kingsize beds, and the third bedroom with two extra long twin beds. All bedrooms have ample closet space. The master bedroom has its own private ensuite bathroom. All bathrooms feature granite counter top vanities, and glass-enclosed walk-in showers. The kitchen is fully equipped with brand new stainless steel appliances, a granite counter top, and a breakfast bar. The home is furnished throughout with brand new furniture. HDTV, and wireless high speed internet access are available free of charge.
Dunkin' Donuts, Subway, Walgreen's, and Kentucky Fried Chicken are within walking distance (5 to 10 minutes), and a mere 10-minute drive will take you to North Federal Highway where you will find all the regular stores and restaurants, such as Target, TJ Maxx, Sears, Macy's, Outback Steakhouse, TGI Friday's, The Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Carrabba's Italian Bar & Grill, IHOP, Denny's, and much more.
Enjoy perfect day trips to the Everglades Holiday Park (38 min), the Miami Seaquarium (42 min), Everglades National Park (1:17 hours). Take a boat tour from downtown Fort Lauderdale (12 min) to view the mansions of Florida's rich and famous from the water. All the comforts of home. The pool was the icing on the cake. Everything was close by. We certainly would go back. Lived every minute of it.
The Floriday Home was a wonderful place to stay. Everything was so nice and clean. The property manager was onhand and helpful instructing us in the use of the television equipment and answering any questions. The furnishings and decor were more than expected. The temperature was a bit cool for Florida and the pool was too cool for us to swim although on the last day one of our group did venture in to do her water exercises. We cooked many meals in the lovely kitchen and overall had a wonderful experience. We would return again to this home. Has everything you need from bedding to towels to kitchen utensils. Pool area is awesome and they have a bbq out there as well. Kitchen area is huge, tons of channels on tv, both bathrooms are very nice. It is on a quiet bay, just off Oakland Park blvd. Close to everything you need in terms of the stores/restaurants. Met the neighbors who are very nice.

At the end of the week (first week of April with temperatures in the 80s) the pool temperature was fine. The neighborhood was a little concerning at first but was fine. Great home. Just like the pictures. Very clean and nicely decorated. Local go to guy Bill was fantastic. He met us at the home and gave us a walk through when we got there. He also left some soda and water in the fridge and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. He was there to answer any questions we had and was just a text away and replied promptly. Being off the canal made it seem like our own little paradise. We spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool and watching the local wildlife. There was a duck that would come by every evening and watching the fish jump out of the water was entertaining and on our last day we even saw three manatees together that hung around for a couple hours. We also enjoyed watching the wild iguanas in the yard across the canal. The house is close to major attractions. We went to a spring training baseball game, went to a drive through safari, and visited the beach that was about a 15-20 min drive depending on traffic. There are a lot of places to eat nearby. Our favorite was Primanti Brothers, they have excellent pizza and interesting sandwiches with French world cup tickets dressage fries and coleslaw on them. The only downfall to the house and the only reason it didn't get five stars was the neighborhood wasn't exactly quiet as described. The neighbors have Macaws, African Greys, and a few dogs that become quite loud at times as they seem to be outside 24/7. Other houses along the canal also have dogs that bark a lot when boats pass through the canal. Other than that, the house was fantastic and we would consider staying there if we were ever to visit the Ft Lauderdale area again.
We stayed here 6 days in Feb-March. This place is ideally located if you like to shop, see NHL games etc. We went 2 times to Panthers game and Bon Jovi concert without any traffic jams. It's only 20 min. to Panthers Arena and Sawgrass Mills, straight road from the house. 20 mins to Boca Raton Mall, 10 mins to Fort Lauderdale Beach and 40 mins to Miami Heat Arena. All fast food places and grocery stores just around the corner. House is just like the pictures and everything is really well thought. Clean, nice and comfortable. House is perfect to families or small groups. Neighborhood is not Boca Raton, but safe and OK. We will come back!
We stayed for 9 days (family with 2 children) in this property . It was very clean and equiped with everything you need. All equipment and furnishing were new. It is close by the sea and also the distance to Miami is not far (30 min. by car) The FLL airport is at only 10 minutes. We will visit this property at least a few more times
When we arrived, I must admit the neighborhood took us aback, but it no major concern. The home looks EXACTLY like the photos. Everything was well cared for and clean. The pool was wonderful, the water nice and clean. We plan on going back again. I have recommended this home to all my friends! My family and I loved this home!!!
During your stay, there was a lot of construction and roadwork going on in the neighborhood, as the city has been working to improve the main water and sewage lines. We understand how this could affect a first impression of the neighborhood. Fortunately, those activities are scheduled to be completed very soon, so the area should look a whole lot better when you visit us next time around!
We rented Floriday Home in March and found it a very pleasurable experience. Everything is brand new, nicely decorated, and clean so it makes you feel right at home. Nice living room with cable television, high speed internet, three bedrooms, brand new washing machine and dryer. The kitchen (with all the kitchen equipment you can think of) with bar is a perfect place to unwind after a daytrip or a day at the beach. We made daytrips to Miami Beach, the Everglades (National Park) and Kennedy Space Center. In the morning, after a good night sleep in a nice comfy bed, we would take a dive in the private pool. A perfect way to start the day.
