Sooooo many travel plans in the works! But nothing set in stone for the me and the kids besides our

My family s long weekend in Mazatlan , Mexico, at the El Cid Marina Beach all-inclusive resort in February 2007, was such a fun and easy vacation. We literally cheap hotel rooms bangkok planned it with perhaps a month s notice, and were so pleased to be able to skip south of the border to heat and humidity during our chilly Colorado winter if only for a little while.
Outside of exploring the El Cid s sister property, cheap hotel rooms bangkok El Moro, about a five-minute taxi ride away, and taking an excursion to Deer Island for a picnic lunch and a family ride on a banana boat, we were content to simply play in our heated hotel pool, hunt for giant iguanas and mess around on the mini mini-golf course.
I smile a lot when I look at the three-year-old vacation photos. My children (now 8 and 10), are still as silly as ever, but it s not often I get to hold my daughter in my arms, and I no longer have to coax my son down a water slide. I scrapbook my vacation photos* and all of our important family events so I ll always have an convenient way too look back and remember all of the amazing things we did together as a family, whether they took place close to home or farther afield.
A huge thanks to Creative Memories, who gave each 2009 Type A Mom Conference attendee a copy of the digital-scrapbooking software Storybook Creator Plus 3.0. (Thanks, too, for tossing a few fee-based digital embellishments and kits my way to help me create the above pages.) Funny, the overall style isn t too different from this scrapbook page I created right after my return from Asheville last year which doesn t look that different from my hard copy pages in the dozen or so traditional Creative Memories scrapbooks that line my office bookshelf. Perhaps for my next vacation photo spreads, I ll try to break from my typical style a bit more!

Hubby has to work so he won t join us on that one.
