Stars from the Harry Potter movies are expected to attend the event, although their names are yet to be announced. The opening Friday will see a special tribute to the movies, while the Saturday and Sunday will feature a "wand masterclass" with choreographer Paul Harris and Q A sessions with cast and crew members.
Vacation packages for the celebration will include entry to a private evening event at Islands of Adventure's Wizarding of Harry Potter, as well as three nights' hotel accommodation, a three-day park-to-park ticket covering Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida, plus early entry to the Wizarding World. Prices start at $675 for the on-site Hard Rock Hotel , Loews Portofino Bay Hotel and Loews Royal Pacific Resort , and $395 for nearby partner hotels (these are based on two people staying in a room).
Universal is currently installing a second Harry Potter land, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley , in Universal Studios Florida. This will be connected to the existing Wizarding World by an attraction themed around the Hogwarts Express economy oneway car rental train.
