What counts is the bottom line price. These days, with stricter regulations in the US, the prices stated on Internet moving web beam travel travel agencies should include sales taxes and so-called airline surcharges. The fees charged by airports do vary but are already added into the air ticket. Trans-Atlantic, it really doesn't matter very much (although individual US cities, especially the smaller ones, may show more variation.)
It's not far above what you would pay in July round trip to San Francisco, without the side excursion. Winter prices have been lower the last couple of years. Remember that you are talking about flying across an entire continent moving web beam travel after crossing the Atlantic, so it's going to cost more than landing in New Yori.
We are coming from San Francisco through LA on the way to Costa Rica with Delta the flight is operated by COMPASS DBA DELTA CONNECTION, apparently the layover moving web beam travel is just 1 hour 20 which I think is too tight. Thanks
Sounds like your question about connection in LAX relates to your travel from SFO to Costa Rica. If it is on a single itinerary on Delta (and that includes Delta Connection) then 1 hour 20 minutes connection should be fine. You will have done check in at SFO and will not have to collect and re-check your bags, this will just be a connection along the way.
Thanks for your message. We have now booked flights with a longer layover, couldn't risk 1 hour 20. Why is the drive not fun ? I have heard that the coast road is wonderful and we have 3 days to do it in.
