Wet as in, it rained most all day. But that was OK, because it looks like they needed it. The Albuquerque Journal said northern New Mexico has had about seven inches of rain this year, against the average of eight, until it turned wetter with the arrival quality accommodation nice of November.
I had planned to take a hike up Sana Fe Canyon, but gave up on that idea. The canyon begins about a mile north of downtown. The road quickly leaves the city limits, then climbs past Hyde Memorial State Park into the Santa Fe National Forest .
