Aida, played by senior Danny Parker, is a Nubian princess who is captured and brought into slavery in Egypt. A military commander, Radames, played by senior Cameron Jordan, struggles cruise liners going to hawaii to choose between his love for her and his loyalty to the Pharaoh, played by senior Joey Bradfield. To complicate the story further, Radames is loved by the Pharaoh s daughter Amneris, played by Junior Ashley Pilon, although he does not return her feelings she continues to pursue him, which leads to her discovering Radames’ and Aida’s secret.
All ages are invited are experience this uplifting musical of young love and personal growth; however, the recommended age of interest for “Aida” is middle school-aged students and older. Tickets purchased in advance are $5 for children and $8 for adults. Tickets purchased at the door are $7 for children and $10 for adults.
